| | Wanted: linux guy/gal for a contract to install, configure, test and deploy a database server (RedHat/Suse Enterprise Linux, w/ hardware RAID, Oracle 10g).
The succesful applicant will have immediate opportunity for on-going part-time work. Exceptional contractor will be considered for a permanent position immediately.
For the motivated individual, opportunities to expand software or hardware eperience in the following: Java, XML, XSL, perl, PHP, PL/SQL Cisco, Juniper.
- very strong unix/linux skills
- strong work ethic
- adpatable and willing to learn
- hands-on experience in managing mission critical production systems
- basic knowledge of databases
In addition, the following qualifications would be a strong plus:
- experience with Oracle installation/administration
- experience with SQL and PL/SQL
- strong analytical skills
- college-level computer science or engineering background
